Are you wondering what are the goals, challenges and priorities for the upcoming year for the city and the school system? Do you have questions about how the budget is created and what current and long-term program and budget planning is being done? The public is invited to a community meeting at Noble Hall at Vermont College on the Fine Arts on Monday, September 22 from 7-9 pm. Hosted by Vibrant and Affordable Montpelier (VAM) there will be refreshments at 6:30. The Mayor and the Chair of the Montpelier School Board will each make a short presentation which will be followed by plenty of time for questions and discussion. This is a good opportunity to learn about the plans for the upcoming year as well as asking questions and sharing your thoughts.
