The Christmas & New Year holidays will soon be upon us but before we get into the thick of shopping and celebration, we wanted to get together another Bennington Town Republican meeting.

The new year of 2024 is right around the corner and with the new year comes city and state budget discussions. Already, Gov. Scott projects an 18.5% increase in property taxes, and our local SVSU got a preliminary look at the next education budget that reflected an overall 14.2% increase! It appears that we all should be watching closely and voicing our concerns.
