The legal voters of the former Village of Lyndonville, Vermont, are hereby notified and warned to meet in the Municipal Office Building, 119 Park Avenue, in the Town of Lyndon on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, between the hours of ten O'Clock (10:00) in the forenoon (a.m.), at which time the polls will open, and seven O'Clock (7:00) in the afternoon (p.m.), at which time the polls will close, to vote by Australian ballot upon the following Articles of business:
ARTICLE 1
"Shall the voters of the former Village of Lyndonville vote to create a Special Tax District for the purpose of a supplemental tax to support the town wide general tax obligation of the Town of Lyndon."
The legal voters of the former Village of Lyndonville are further notified that voter qualification, registration, and absentee voting relative to said special meeting shall be as provided in 24 V.S.A. §1303, and Chapters 43, 51 and 55 of Title 17, Vermont Statutes Annotated.
