Want a musical boost to get you in the holiday mood?
Vermont's professional chamber chorus Counterpoint sings their annual holiday concert with the VSO Brass Quintet and will be in Manchester at the Congregational Church on Sunday, December 17 at 4 pm.
It's a lively, heartwarming program that includes tender Robert De Cormier arrangements of carols, some fun family fare (Santa Baby or I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas, anyone?) and a world premiere of a piece for brass and chorus about the World War I spontaneous Christmas truce, by Saxtons River-based composer Carol Wood.
