'new new art studio' presents "raw" featuring the work of Aleyna Feinberg and Nick Thabit. Both artists have a firm foundation in painting, but each has explored the medium in their way. And while Feinberg is actively pushing off the wall and into mixed-media assemblage, Thabit is digging deeper into narrative, allegorical scenes on a large scale. Connecting the two is a raw approach to their work, evident in the use of repurposed materials, unstretched canvas tacked to the wall, or a sense of emotional vulnerability. Touching on aspects of place, identity, and the quest for meaning, this show is about finding one's edge and going beyond.

Opening Friday, December 1st - 5 pm to 8 pm
Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm with a closing reception on Sunday from 4 to 6 pm
