Advent Taizé in Middlebury
Join us Tuesdays in Advent for an hour of song, silence, and contemplation in the tradition of the Taizé community. All are welcome.
Taizé services are built around meditative singing. Each chant uses a simple melodic line and a single phrase from scripture, repeated over and over. Taizé is nondenominational, nondogmatic, Christ-focused, and centered on the idea that "God is love and love alone."
