Hello neighbors! Please join me and other community members at the Public Meeting to plan the future of the Worcester Range. December 13, 6-8pm, Doty Elementary School, 24 Calais Road, Worcester, VT. The amazing Worcester Range, including the CC Putnam State Forest and Elmore State Park, is the wild heart of central Vermont. More than 18,000-acres of state-managed public land along the spine of the range belong to each and every Vermonter. These lands protect communities downstream from flooding, support native biodiversity, and sequester and store vast amounts of carbon. All of this is at stake as the VT Agency of Natural Resources drafts the first-ever management plan for the Worcester Range.
