The Vermont State Ethics Commission wants to hear from YOU on municipal ethics.

The Ethics Commission has been asked to provide recommendations to the legislature on municipal ethics in Vermont, including recommendations on ethics accountability and how municipalities can be best served when it comes to ethics training, advice and guidance.

We need your help. Tomorrow, November 28, 2023, the Commission will hold its third and last listening session to receive comments on municipal ethics in Vermont from all interested parties. We especially want to hear from members of the public. Do you have experiences with municipal ethics you'd like to share with us? How do you feel about the current framework for municipal ethics in Vermont? What works well? What could be improved? How can the State Ethics Commission best provide assistance to municipalities?
