To learn more about protecting our important native pollinators from pesticides, join the Pollinator Pathway of Addison County (PPAC) with special guests Emily May from the Xerces Society and Paul Burns from the Vermont Public Interest Research Group (VPIRG). This free presentation takes place on Tuesday, December 5, 7:00-8:30 at the Middlebury Congregational Church's Unity Hall.
Emily May has presented two very popular webinars for PPAC and is an entomologist specializing in helping farmers provide habitat for native pollinators. She will talk about the importance of reducing pesticide use in our landscapes. Paul Burns, Executive Director of VPIRG, will introduce VPIRGs initiative "Protect our Pollinators" and help us learn how we can take action in the upcoming Legislative session.
