Northfield Farmers Market invites everyone to attend the Common Spirit Celebration on Friday, Dec. 1, 3:30-6:30 p.m., on the town Common at Depot Square. Modeled on traditional European outdoor winter markets, Common Spirit is a festive occasion that celebrates community and the many ways in which the season is observed.
This year the market is honored to partner with The Veterans' Place, who is holding a fundraising raffle for a Farm-to-Table Double-Date Dinner for Four featuring locally grown ingredients donated by the market's vendors. The winner and three guests will be treated to a four-course meal prepared by The Veterans' Place staff and volunteers, and two gift baskets. This special Valentine's evening will be hosted by the Margaret Holland Inn. Raffle tickets cost $5 and will be sold at the Common Spirit Celebration. Tickets will also be available at The Veterans' Place (802) 485-8874, and can be purchased through the NFM's online market starting Dec. 2 at https://northfieldfm.eatfromfarms.com. The drawing will be held Feb. 1.
