Science of Stretching is offering a free intro class any Thursday between Nov. 30 and Dec. 28. Science of StretchingTM is a targeted mobility training method that helps with stiff backs, locked up hips, tight hamstrings, and rigid shoulders. These classes usually deliver increased flexibility fairly quickly.
Our goal is achieving a functional range of motion. We start wherever we are and improve from their. With an intelligent self-care flexibility training regimen, you can move toward a balanced body and reduce your risk of injury.
Who can benefit—Anyone who can't bend like they use to:
*Adults whose lifestyles have led to decreased range of motion, and who for example would life to be able to put their socks easily;
*Athletes who have focused solely on strength training and have "bunched" muscle but can't touch their toes;
*Yogis and yoginis who have gained much benefit from yoga but feel there are parts of their bodies that are a bit stubborn and could be loosened more by targeted stretches;
*Office workers, drivers, and cell phone users who stiff necks or sore backs.
Science of Stretching may not be suitable for anyone still recovering from a recent serious injury. Talk to your medical provider first.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first class. Where loose fitting clothing or yoga gear. And stay bendy! Rob
