Learn how the NEK Council on Aging's Tech for Today program helps our senior community members clear technology hurdles using computers, tablets, cell phones, and the Internet. We'll explain what we do and how to contact and schedule with us.
NEK Community Action will also be present to explain the Affordable Connectivity Program. The ACP provides a credit of $30 per month on home or mobile Internet service to those who meet financial qualifications. We will help participants determine if they are eligible and provide help signing up for the program during this event. More information on the ACP can be found at https://www.fcc.gov/acp.
When and Where:
Tuesday November 28 at 1:30 pm. at the Hardwick Senior Center 56 High St, next to the Police Department
The presentations will be short - about a half hour - and the remainder of the time will be answering questions and helping apply for the ACP.
