With Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday, I am feeling particularly grateful to our Burlington community for your kindness, compassion and commitment to our City. At a meeting at the Miller Center this last weekend an All Hands On Deck member suggested we all meet downtown for the Church Street Tree Lighting ceremony to celebrate, support and care for our downtown. I'm on board! How about you?
You're invited to join me, the Joan For Mayor campaign, and our All Hands On Deck (the Halls) movement at the Church Street Christmas Tree Lighting. We will meet at the Holiday Market in City Hall Park at 5:00 PM on Friday and then walk up Church Street to see the tree lighting! (Shopping and singing along the way strongly encouraged).
