A special Thanksgiving morning show! Coming up Thursday on Central Vermont Community Radio: At the one-year anniversary of the public release of ChatGPT, we look at where AI development is, where it's leading, and what the implications for Vermonters are.
9:00 - 10:00 am
This last weekend was a huge shake-up for OpenAI, just shy of the one-year anniversary of the giant splash they made with ChatGPT 3.5. But both events are surely just blips in a revolution that could be as big as or bigger than the steam engine, the bicycle, or the personal computer. How is AI affecting Vermonters now, and how is it likely to affect us in the near future? To get us started thinking about this topic, we'll speak with Mich Kabay, who taught "The Politics of Cyberspace" at Norwich University for several years. Kabay is now professor emeritus of Computer Information Systems at Norwich.
10:00 - 10:30 am
Resilience Thoughts, a locally told Extempo story, and more.
