Learn how to improve your balance and prevent falls in this two-part presentation. There are many different factors that lead to falls occurring, and usually a fall is caused by a combination of factors. The more risk factors a person has, the more likely they are to fall. Fortunately, many risk factors can be prevented, or modified to lower your risk! The program will include an interactive educational presentation, and an individual screening by a physical therapist to assess your strength, steadiness, and walking speed.
