Supporting friends and family who have Cancer, or being supported while undergoing your own treatments can be a huge load to bear. The Cancer Patient Support Program(CPS) is here to help by providing psycho/social and nutritional counseling – as well as an emergency fund for financial concerns – to Cancer patients and their families throughout Vermont and Upstate New York. A local nonprofit, CPS runs mainly on volunteer energy, with only two part time staff. CPS depends on the generosity of the community to fund programs within our mission . A wonderful event to raise a huge portion of the funding is coming up Saturday, September 27th at the Robert E. Miller Center at the Champlain Valley Expo, 6:30 pm.
