Starting this Saturday, November 25th, the Albany Food Share will be shifting our open hours to Saturday mornings from 10:30-12:30 at the Albany Town Hall. Please help us spread the word of this change to anyone you think might need to know. We offer fresh local produce, meat, dairy, and shelf-stable staples, custom packed by your requests. All are welcome.
This change in hours is a way of making the Town Hall more available for use on Saturday afternoons, which is likely a popular time for events, while also acknowledging that keeping our hours on the weekend make the food share more accessible to many visitors and volunteers. If you would like to use the town hall, it will be warm and toasty on Saturday afternoons, and the main hall space will be available for event setup starting around 11:30. The Food Share will be all the way packed up from the front entryway by 12:45 at the latest.
The Albany Food Share is a site of the Hardwick Area Food Pantry, and we thank the town and people of Albany for your ongoing support and for letting us use this historic town building for 4 hours each week to serve folks from Albany and our neighboring communities.
