Stowe Women's Business Network September Meeting

Past event
Sep 16, 2014, 8:30 to 10 AM

Please join us for the September meeting of the Women Business Owners Network, Stowe chapter.

Our topic this month will cover legal issues for women business owners.

Starting and running your own business can be intimidating, especially when you are faced with new decisions, legal documents, or if you are entering uncharted waters. Getting the proper legal advice up front can help you avoid problems down the road. Katherine's passion is helping women running their own businesses get the advice they need to make informed decisions, understand their options and be able to spend time doing what they love instead of addressing legal challenges.

Our presenter is Katherine O'Neill of the Law Office of Lisa Gale. Katherine will cover issues ranging from addressing why forming an entity such as an LLC is important, why interns and contractors make her nervous, why written contracts are important, and more.

Come prepared for a lively discussion and take notes!

Stowe Chapter meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month. We encourage you to bring a friend who might enjoy this topic and/or would benefit from being a part of WBON.
