The Parent Homeschooling Support Group is a space for homeschooling parents to get together and support each other, ask questions, share resources, work through challenges, and ways to enhance their children's educational and social experiences with homeschool.
This meeting is open to:
Folks considering homeschooling.
New homeschoolers looking for guidance.
Seasoned homeschooling parents looking for fresh ideas and/or with guidance to share.
Long haulers who have it all figured out!
We meet every third Tuesday of the month at the Craftsbury Public Library, at 2:00pm.
Our upcoming meeting on the 21st coincides with a movie matinee of Mary Poppins that Jen will hold in the children's room. In keeping with the Library's family responsibility policy (link below), children aged 8 and older are welcome to use the library unsupervised, and younger children can attend with supervision. And if you don't want your children watching Mary Poppins, please be aware that it will be showing.
The Homeschool Parent Support Group event is NOT designed as a kiddo meet up. Children who are able to entertain themselves and follow the library rules without supervision are welcome.
Please read the library's Family Responsibility Policy here: https://www.craftsburypubliclibrary.org/policies
The Craftsbury Homeschool Skillshare Group for kids and families will meet next on 12/5 at 2:00 pm at the United Church of Craftsbury.
