All are welcome, regardless of need or ability to bring anything to swap!

Accepted for the swap:
-Clean, working, safe, and complete toys that your child no longer uses, but that another child would be excited to receive as a gift;
-Like-new children's books;
-Outdoor ride-on vehicles or playthings;
-Games and puzzles that contain all of the pieces;
-Brand-new stuffed animals;
-Re-giftable items (i.e. something you may have received as a gift but that you haven't used, that someone else might be happy to receive)- for example, an unopened bottle of scented lotion, a pair of earrings still in original packaging, or a never-before-used yoga mat. These items do not have to be appealing to children (e.g. an unburned candle or pack of unused dishtowels).

Items we cannot accept:
-Pre-worn clothes, shoes, outerwear--generally no textiles unless they're brand new;
-Books that are not in great condition or intended for children;
-DVDs, CDs, and VHS tapes
-Pre-loved stuffed animals;
-Baby gear (e.g. cribs, mattresses, seats, bottles, strollers, carriers);
-Helmets (i.e. bike, ski);
-Car seats;
-Obviously-used items (e.g. a partially-burnt candle or open bottle of lotion);
-Anything that is a "fixer-upper," broken, dirty, missing important pieces, or unsafe.

You may bring your items to swap on the day of the event, or you can drop them off in Lincoln (or nearby) with Elizabeth in the days leading up to December 9. Please message Elizabeth on FB, email by responding to this post, or text/call 413-250-9334 to make arrangements to drop off items early.

You DO NOT have to donate anything to the swap in order to participate.
You also may donate items to the swap but not participate or take anything in return!

Starting at 10am on December 9, a limited number of attendees will be invited to enter the swap "shopping" area in the basement of Burnham Hall to choose items (the number of which may be limited, depending on how many items have been brought in), and then additional people will be let in to that space as others leave.
