Join the East Montpelier and Calais Historical Societies and the Unitarian Church on Monday night, November 20, for a presentation of music and stories from the early 1900s: Songs of the Suffragettes. Linda Radtke (in period costume) and accompanist will share stories and music from the early 1900's to express the challenges met by thousands of women crusading for the right to vote in the United States. The presentation will take place at 7:00 pm Monday, November 20, at the Unitarian Church, 130 Main Street, Montpelier. There is no charge to attend, and refreshments will be served.
