The Only Thing Worse You Could Have Told Me... A staged reading by Dan Butler, the author of this award-winning off-Broadway play. Told through multiple characters, a whirlwind tour of the gay American landscape in 1994. In turn heartbreaking, funny, raw, vulnerable, intimate, and always compelling, at its heart is the need for connection and love.
An actor, writer, director, producer, and poet, Dan's many acting credits include major roles on and off-Broadway, television, and film. Favorites include the role of "Bulldog" on the hit series "Frasier."
The play is not suitable for children as it contains adult content and language.
The Only Thing Worse You Could Have Told Me.... hosted by Court Street Arts, is a benefit performance for Help Kids India, a Vermont nonprofit which supports four preschools for 220 children living in poverty in rural south India. More at helpkidsindia.org
