In case you couldn't make the first workshop or you missed it you have a second chance.
Winter is fast approaching, and it's always nice to have some Fire Cider ready on the shelf for those times when you are feeling like you are "coming down with something.
Fire Cider is a tonic of apple cider vinegar infused with warming herbs and honey that is sour, sweet, spicy and delicious! It aids the body with enhanced immunity and stimulated circulation. The traditional recipe has onion, garlic, horseradish, ginger and hot peppers infused in vinegar for about 4 weeks. Once strained honey is added to desired sweetness.
In this workshop we will prepare a quart jar full of locally grown ingredients, (including the ginger!), plus have some additional options for "add ins" to make it uniquely your own.
Workshop will be inside and limited to 8 people. There are only 4 spots left.
Cost is $35 or pay what you can.
Date and Time: Saturday, November 11th, 9:30-12:00
Bring: A wide mouth quart jar, a sharp knife, and cutting board.
