This coming Saturday, during the Cadets men's ice hockey game versus Johnson and Wales at Kreitzberg Arena, Norwich University is paying tribute to all United States military service members, veterans, and their families. Singing the National Anthem will be Greg Bassette, a former resident of The Veterans' Place, and current resident Kameron Bailey will drop the ceremonial puck. The Norwich University Color Guard will perform, and all U.S. military personnel, past and present, will be asked to stand and be recognized. For everyone's entertainment, there will be a spectacular appearance by a member of Mountain & Cold Weather Company, and a contingent of U8 Vermont Black Bear youth hockey players will compete in a mini-exhibition game between the first and second periods. Finally, a 50/50 raffle will take place to benefit The Veterans' Place. Please come to commemorate Veterans Day, cheer on the Cadets, and show your support for our brave military heroes! Thank you!
