The Vergennes Lions Club is in the final weeks of its annual "Cash for Christmas" raffle where someone will take home half of the raffle sales. Last year it was close to $3,000.
Tickets cost $10 for one, $20 for three or $40 for eight, and available from any Lion member, at Ferrisburgh Bake Shop and Deli, or by sending your check to "Vergennes Lions Club", P.O. Box 94, Vergennes, VT 05491, with your name, address, and phone number. Drawing is December 13.
All monies earned are used to help folks in need in the greater Vergennes area.
