The Waterbury Rotary Club will once again be working with the Waterbury Common Market (formerly the Waterbury Area Food Shelf) during its annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive
For over a decade, the Waterbury Common Market has provided Thanksgiving turkeys and a bag with traditional meal fixings to at least 100 families in the community who need a bit of help over the holidays.
SO….. please bring a frozen turkey or two to the Common Market at 57 South Main Street on Saturday, November 11th between 10am-1pm. We will also gratefully accept monetary donations or other holiday items such as hams, stuffing mixes, vegetables or cheese.
You do not even have to get out of your car! One of our Rotarians will gladly pick up your donation right from your vehicle.
Many thanks to Village Market for storing some of our turkeys in their freezers and, of course, thanks to all of you for continuing to show what truly caring and supportive communities the Towns of Waterbury and Duxbury are!
