The Salisbury Conservation Commission is sponsoring a Tree ID walk around the Pitch Pine Trail on Plains Road in Salisbury, from 9 AM to 12 noon on Sunday, November 12 (rain date the following Sunday the 19th). Jim Andrews will be the guide with the goal of identifying over 20 tree species by bark, buds, twigs, and when necessary, downed leaves. If there is some snow before then, the group can look for mammal tracks as well. The walk is limited to the first 15 people who register.
