In June, three Vermonters, Jane Dwinell, KC Whiteley and David Stember, traveled to Alberta, Canada to participate in a "healing walk" around the tar sands mining pits with the local First Nations people and allies. Please join us to hear their stories and to learn more about the tar sands and the international resistance movement.
In addition, we will be celebrating the recent pipeline victory in South Portland, Maine, this week's amazing decision in the "Lobster Boat Blockade" case in Massachusetts and gearing up for the People's Climate March in NYC, Sept. 21st!
Also, a bonus: Mike Brown's story telling project on "People and the Land in the Northeast Kingdom: What's at Risk with the Portland Montreal Pipeline."
Call or write me if you have questions.
