Hands firm on a plastic package, the recycler examines labels, symbols, or other signs of recyclability. They turn the package over. The object hovers over the recycling and trash bins, swaying back and forth while the recycler ponders what bin is right. After what feels like the amount of time a tree takes to grow, the item is thrown into a bin. A choice was made.

Come join a FREE workshop hosted by ACSWMD at the Middlebury Regional EMS training room on November 14, 2023, to become an expert plastic recycler.
