There is still room available on the Tree ID walk around the Pitch Pine Trail on Plains Road in Salisbury, from 9 AM to 12 noon on Sunday, November 12 (rain date the following Sunday the 19th). Jim Andrews will lead the walk with the goal of identifying over 20 tree species primarily by bark, but also buds, twigs, and when necessary, downed leaves. The weather forecast currently looks good for Sunday. The walk is free but limited to the first 15 people who register.
