Is the healthcare system serving you and your family?
Are you able to access and afford the care you need?
What do you want to see more of in your community?
I am posting today because we have an opportunity to participate in a meaningful conversation about healthcare in Vermont. The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB), at the direction of the the Legislature, is hosting a series of meetings across the state and is anxious to discuss these questions with Vermonters. More attendance will lead to a more robust discussion. The GMCB and their consultant will analyze the results of these discussions and report back to the Healthcare Committee in January on what actions can be taken to improve access and outcomes and to reduce costs in our healthcare system.
In our area, there is a meeting on November 3 from 4-6 pm that is accessible on Zoom.
The entire statewide schedule and links for meetings are here:

I look forward to sharing an overview of what the Healthcare Committee learns from this process once we are back in session in Jaunary.
Thank you for engaging in this important conversation!
