Brain Club is a weekly community education series offered free (donations appreciated) by All Brains Belong VT. Join us to learn how brain science impacts how we learn, work, play, and live. 1 in 5 people thinks, learns, and/or communicates differently than the so-called "typical" brain. The "one size fits all" approach to most systems in society leaves many people in our community feeling left out, "othered," and isolated. Come learn about this and more at Brain Club! Info & registration: https://allbrainsbelong.org/brain-club
Tuesdays 6-7PM on Zoom + recorded for later viewing (produced by Orca Media)
Brain Club Theme: Health & Belonging. Belonging can not be separated from health. Neurodivergent people often feel isolated and alone. Connecting together, listening and valuing each other's true selves helps people feel like they belong. This improves health.
11/7: Vision for Inclusion (Community Panel)—Join us to hear from a panel of community members to discuss health equity, why it is so important, and how we can reimagine a world where healthcare is accessible for everyone.
11/14: The Language of Belonging—Join us this week as we discuss how belonging can not be separated from health and how feeling like you belong can improve health.
11/21: Health & Belonging at Work (Community Panel)—Join us to hear from a panel of community members discussing how employment is connected to health.
11/28: Reimagining Healthcare & Community—Join us this week as we discuss how everything is connected and is a part of health – relationships, employment, and education.
Join us! Let's learn … and unlearn … together.
