A friend of mine in Jericho asked me to post the following message about a class she will teach soon in Waterbury:

"Would you like to travel but think you can't afford it? This upcoming class "Home Exchange and Low-Cost Travel" will show how you CAN do it- economically and comfortable - to Europe, Australia, or a distant American state. Swap your home and car with someone there who wants to visit Vermont. Learn the ins and outs, pluses and minuses (very few) of home exchange from someone who has done it numerous times and will explain the process to you AND allay your fears about turning over your home to "strangers." This class will also offer information on finding low-cost flights, B&Bs, rental cottages and organizations offering free home stays. It's a 2-session class: Tuesday, Sept.23 and 30, 6:30PM - 8:PM, at the Waterbury Congregational Church on Main Street.
