The Barre Geneaology Group and the Barre Historical Society are holding a fair this Saturday, Nov. 4, to give people information and inspiration for researching their ancestors. Dorie Wilsnack will be giving information on finding enslaved and slave-holding ancestors. We'll talk about why it's important to know and remember family history—and some of the advantages of forgetting it or never learning it. The fair is 10 am to 2 pm in the Socialist Labor Hall in Barre.
