Middlebury College Musical Theatre presents the hilarious, Tony Award-winning musical: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! It's a clever and poignant story of six quirky middle schoolers competing for the title of "Best Speller" in their county. It even includes four audience volunteers who will "compete" alongside the actors (for those who are brave enough). Who will win the bee? It could be you! But probably not...
This production is performed, directed, and designed entirely by Middlebury students in MCMT. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and general public are all welcome! This show does contain some strong language, so unless you want the little ones learning to spell some inappropriate words, it's best to leave them home.
Tickets can be bought through the Middlebury Box Office using the link below. Performances are November 10th and 11th at 7:00pm in Wilson Hall in the McCullough Student Center. Tickets are $5 for Middlebury students, $8 for Middlebury Faculty/Staff/Alumni, and $10 for General Public. We hope to see you at the Bee!
