It 's time again for our favorite annual Event! On Saturday, November 4 we'll again sponsor our Annual Harvest Fest Benefit for Feeding Chittenden, the region's most active organization providing Food and other services for our hungry neighbors. And this year, more than ever, with summer flooding and housing scarcity, our efforts are more essential to more people than ever before! So, whether you've come before or never experienced it , we invite you to join us in support of our neighbors in need.

Here's what to expect. Feeding Chittenden will be here to greet you and explain their work. The event, styled like a small farmers' market, begins at 11 AM and continues until 4. Admission is free. Instead, we ask that you bring donations of non-perishable food items and/or a cash donation to support Feeding Chittenden. We'll have an array of local producers in the winery and under our heated patio tent sampling and selling their wares to give you a head start on your holiday shopping as you support our small local producers that this year include, in addition to Shelburne Vineyard/ Iapetus Wines and Eden Ciders, Wild Hart Distillery, Bear Moon Botanica, Frog Hollow Farms, Jasper Hill Farm, Matryoshka's Bakery, Shelburne Farms , Frolic Goods and Mudcraft Pottery Studio. Each vendor will offer a gift item which we'll raffle off once an hour and your entry donation of a food or cash gives you a place in the drawing. Paprika Catering will be on hand all day to offer their delicious lunches.

So come share in this event's proud history! In the past, the combined donations of food and cash have been sufficient to provide as much as 3000 pounds of food to help sustain Feeding Chittenden and the people it serves. As we enter this colder, more challenging season, we at Shelburne Vineayard/Iapetus and Eden Cider hope we can, with your help, exceed that contribution this year, and we can't wait to see you all again this Saturday!
