K.A. Bachus is acquainted with the world of Cold War secrets. Bachus enlisted in the United States Air Force where she typed aircrew intelligence briefings and ran a large, classified library in a special operations unit. After receiving her commission, she served in England and Japan. As a civilian, she practiced criminal defense law in Texas.
