HOW can we TAKE CHARGE OF OUR BONE HEALTH through LONGEVITY PRACTICES OF AYURVEDA, YOGA AND WESTERN SCIENTIFIC approaches?
Please join me for a series of FREE talks: Wednesday, November 1, 15, and 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM
We will address six areas over the course of three evening talks:
1. The need to assess bone strength. Find the cause.
2. Upgrade your nutrition to reduce inflammation. What is an alkaline diet? What's Ayurvedic nutrition?
3. Review your personalized supplements or herbal protocol.
4. Understand the importance of digestion and detoxification, and the role of colon health and "Agni" (What is Agni?)
5. Get moving the right way - weight bearing, agility, strength and keeping exercise fun, and not depleting. This includes Yoga postures, Tai Chi and other approaches.
6. Prioritize your inner support of mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and consciousness. This is where Yoga and Ayurveda shine!
This Wednesday 11/1 we will address:
• Introduction: Visualizing a holistic approach to bone health and making it practical for the long haul.
• How to understand the DEXA scan and other options of assessment.
• List of diagnostic tests to reveal what affects bone metabolism.
• The Ayurvedic perspective on cause and bone health assessment.
• Nutritional recommendations: What is an alkaline diet, anti-inflammatory diet?
• Ayurvedic perspective on nutrition for bone health.
