The http://Racevermont.com Annual Union Bank 5K 10K & Half Marathon is this Saturday, October 28, 8 AM to 11:30 AM. Runners start and end at Shelburne Field House. This is a very scenic event. Here are the runner routes for each length.
The 5K route- Start at 9AM. Runners leave Athletic Dr. to Harbor Rd. Runners turn around just before Bay Rd and return back to the Field House.
The 10K route- Start is 9 AM. Runners leave Athletic Drive to Harbor Rd. Runners turn around just north of the Harbor Rd S-Turn and return back to the Field House.
The Half Marathon route- Start is 8 AM. Runners leave Athletic Drive to School St (runners head around the streets of Stokes, Heritage, and Fletcher Lane), then Depot Rd, Limerick Rd, then Harbor to Shelburne Shipyard, then to the Shelburne Rec Path, across Bay Rd, Ti Path, Harbor Rd then Athletic Drive back to the Field House
Shelburne Police will support this event. Police will be positioned at Athletic/Harbor, Harbor/Bay. Many thanks to the Shelburne Police, Shelburne Recreation, and the Shelburne Residents.
