Craftsbury, we need your input!
Hi, Neighbors,
The October 17 Craftsbury Freedom & Unity event had a terrific turnout with great discussions about our priorities in making local democracy stronger, more accessible, and more welcoming for all.
Here are two more important ways you can weigh in:
1) TAKE THE SURVEY
Please give your opinions about where you think Craftsbury is strong or needs growth in key civic and democracy areas. Your responses will help plan the public discussion at the November 5th workshop.
Here's the survey link: https://designation2050.questionpro.com/a/TakeSurvey?tt=6Vbv0yeyZqUECHrPeIW9eQ%3D%3D
Print copies of the survey are available at the Town Office and the Craftsbury Public Library.
Don't delay—survey closes Mon Oct. 30th.
2) MARK YOUR CALENDAR
Join us on Sunday, November 5, 1:00-4:00 pm, at the Craftsbury Public Library for the follow-up discussion.
We will be weighing options regarding Town Meeting/Australian ballot, hearing ideas from other towns, exchanging our own ideas and suggestions, and working together to consider specific steps Craftsbury can take to improve democratic engagement year-round.
Kid care: Children's Librarian Jen McKenzie will be on hand to offer kids' activities
Delicious snacks: Come hungry, we'll have plenty!
Hope to see you soon and please spread the word.
Many thanks to the Craftsbury Selectboard, Town Clerk, and Craftsbury Freedom & Unity Task Force for leadership and support. As always, info will continue to be updated at the Town website https://www.townofcraftsbury.com/freedom-unity-comm
