In celebration of this year's Vermont Reads book "Last Night at the Telegraph Club" by Malinda Lo, join Katherine Leung, Cantonese-Vermonter and editor of Canto Cutie, for a discussion about the Asian American experience through writing followed by a guided poetry workshop.

This presentation will start with an overview of Canto Cutie's impact on Asian American independent publishing and be followed by a reading of poems written by Cantonese-American writers from past volumes of Canto Cutie. Afterwards, participants will write their own poems using a simple and interactive format. Participants can share their creations and read aloud from their latest work at the end of the workshop.

First ten participants to join will receive a free copy of Canto Cutie Zine.
