Join Third Act Vermont, the Sierra Club, and the Green Mountain Club as we jointly host an outing, gathering, lunch, and discussion on top of Mt Philo on Saturday October 28th. We meet at 10:45 a.m. in the lower parking lot of Mt. Philo: 5425 Mt Philo Rd, Charlotte, VT. The hike up the mountain is just under a mile and about 600' of elevation gain. We will likely split into two groups - one going up the roadway and one up the trail. Upon arriving on top we will gather at the Lodge for lunch, casual conversation, and a talk with the Sierra Club, GMC, and Third Act Vermont regarding shared environmental initiatives. The hike and social gathering is specifically designed to accommodate those with mobility issues, so guests can drive to the top if they wish. There is an ADA-accessible path to the lodge and viewpoint.
Advanced Registration is required because we will be paying for guests' entrance fees and providing a light lunch.
