Neighbors,

Last year, Sambatucada was invited to do a parade/performance around the Five Sisters neighborhood during trick-or-treating prime time. Residents, kids & their parents all seemed to enjoy it. & speaking for the band, so did we.

Based on that experience, we'd like to do it again this year. (May be weather-dependent, likely cancelled in the event of heavy rain.) Many band members are already on board. Some will even be in full costume!

Please respond directly to me via email if you have any concerns about this planned event. We will not block traffic & will be mindful of safety issues (e.g. we will probably be wearing LED headlamps & such) so we can be seen. Also, feel free to comment if you welcome this brief sonic disruption to your Halloween household vibe (we're loud, but it's short-lived). Route is likely to be similar to last year: from Pine St., up Howard St., length of Caroline St. to Callahan Park, down Locust St., close the loop up Charlotte St. to Catherine & back on Howard St.) Time given is approximate.
