Opening reception in Middlebury for the new exhibit "Arthur Healy & His Students" on Friday, September 12 from 5-7 PM at the Henry Sheldon Museum, during Arts Walk. The exhibit (August 26-November 09, 2014), highlights a range of watercolor paintings of horse racing, hunting, Ireland, and Vermont by Arthur Healy (1902 – 1978), Middlebury College’s esteemed Art Professor, together with works by 9 Alumni who studied under him and went onto distinguished careers in the arts.
