There will be a presentation on "Apple Dolls", an early pioneer craft, on Tuesday, September 9th at 7:00 P.M. at the historic 1814 Yellow one-room Schoolhouse on Route #2 in Grand Isle next to the Hyde Log Cabin. Patsy Griswold Robinson of South Hero will explain this craft which was one of her mother's hobbies.
Dan Gamelin, assistant docent at the Hyde Log Cabin, will discuss early pioneer hunting, his homemade rifle, and turkey calls.
Docent Charlene Southwick will present the role of women in the Jedediah Hyde, Jr. era.
After the program there will be refreshments and time for socializing. Please join us for a great evening - this will be our last program for this season.
