The Katharine E. Dopp Organ Recital Series presents David Neiweem at First Baptist Church, 81 St. Paul St., Burlington, on Sunday, October 29 at 3pm. David will play a program of 17th and 18th century pieces from locations across Europe and a few other surprises. The instrument is the 1864 E. & G.G. Hook (op. 342) tracker organ. David has been a well-known and accomplished member of the organ and choral music scene in Burlington for decades and a member of the UVM Music Faculty. The recital is free, but donations help to support future recitals. There is plenty of parking nearby. Refreshments will be available while you have a chance to chat with the artist following the recital.
