Richmonds in the USA – slide show presentation by RHS member Martha Turner.
Did you know that "Richmond" is one of the most common place names in the United States? Dozens of American cities, towns, counties, and other communities (past and present) have called themselves "Richmond" ("Or Richmondville, Richmond Dale, etc.)
This presentation explores several of America's famous and not-so-famous Richmonds. From an island off the coast of Maine to a hip San Francisco district, and from mining settlements in the Rocky Mountains to a Georgia community supported by Henry Ford … there's a lot of America to be seen in this journey through Richmonds in the USA.
We hope to see you there. For more info: RHS@oldroundchurch.com
