National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) at MCL

Past event
Nov 18, 2023, 11 AM to 3 PM

In support of all local authors – published and not, MCL is making each Saturday in the month of November a Come Write In. From 11am to 3pm our doors are open and writers have a designated space in which they can create. Come meet with other writers in the area who have taken on the NaNoWriMo challenge. Find support and write your heart out. National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an approach to writing that can help keep you on track. Every year the challenge is the same: write an entire novel in just one month – ok, just the first draft. For 30 days in the month of November you get to ignore your inner critic and let your imagination run free. No editing, no critiquing, just writing. 50,000 words in 30 days is the goal. Hope to see you at the Library!
