Just a reminder that the Essex Republican Committee "Meet the Candidates" BBQ will be held Sunday, Sept. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Maple Street Park in Essex Junction. House and Senate candidates from throughout Chittenden County will be in attendance as well as Governor candidate Scott Milne, Congressional candidate Mark Donka and Attorney General candidate Shane McCormack. Come and meet your candidates, enjoy a BBQ cookout and spend a "Sunday in the Park." Cost for the BBQ is $10 for one, $15 for two, and $20 for a family, no limit. There will be great door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
