Past event
Nov 16, 2023, 5 to 6 PM

Join Sustainable Woodstock for a virtual presentation and discussion with Marie Levesque Caduto of the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources about stream debris! We'll learn when to remove it, when to leave it be, and when it would be best to add more to keep our stream ecosystems healthy and thriving.

Marie Levesque Caduto is the Watershed Planner for southeastern VT with the Dept. of Environmental Conservation. Marie has worked for DEC for 18 years and has 40 years of experience in the environmental field. Marie writes watershed plans that summarize water quality and habitat conditions in a watershed (including the Ottauquechee River), identifies and prioritizes on-the-ground projects and actions needed to protect or restore water resources and identifies appropriate funding sources to complete the work with partnering organizations. Marie spends her free time paddling, hiking and gardening and maintaining a 230 year-old home.
